From 2010- Television journalist Rita Cosby discovered her greatest story right at home - the story of her father, Richard Cosby, a member of the Polish resistance in World War II.
Encouraging him to finally reveal, as he never had before, his role in the war brought Rita and Richard closer together than ever. Her 2010 book, “Quiet Hero,” is a biography-history that is also a daughter’s tribute to a father who genuinely was a hero.
Last week Richard Cosby died from cancer, at age 86. His death leaves us without what Rita calls “one of the greatest patriots I’ve ever known.”
